I am looking into purchasing a DVD wall, and have found some great prices, my question is this. I will be purchasing cases for dvd to be put on the wall. Now I like to have covers for the look but I have read a lot about high prices of printing/ink.

My main question is . . .

1. All I really need is the Brim of the DVD, basically the part that would be sticking out that you read if it was on a DVD wall. Where it says title not the front or back cover. Are there any sites that just have the brims?

2. What are the best sites for getting dvd covers, and if you can't get just the brims has anyone tried editing the coverers to just pring out the brims?

I figure it would save a TON of ink and be cost efficient

A good site to go to with lots of DVD covers etc etc is http://www.cdcovers.cc/dvd_a.php now with what you want to do. Most covers you download from the site have the front/back/spine part all under the front cover. Below is an example of how the front cover of shrek was downloaded.

Now I opened up the front cover in an image editor program. (I used Nero PhotoShop Viewer) and CROP out the spine part of the front cover. Example below.

Now you have just the spine part of the DVD cover that you can insert.

I wouldn?t be able to tell you how they come due to I put my DVD's in a paper sleeve and use Mailing Labels to print the name of the movie and place it on the top left corner of the paper sleeve, then put them in Alphabetical order in plastic shoe boxes which I store on a book shelf.

I would assume it would depend on what type of cases you get.

All the different brands ive tryed(Verbatim slimline,Memorex slimline,Staples slimline,Maxell full size,Memorex full size, Staples full size) have the plastic already attached to the case.I believe most will.

Hope that helps.

it seems rather difficult sliding out a dvd cover that is already under the plastic, i imagine sliding one in under the cover will cause a lot of wrinkles and creases? anyone have such problems/experiance?
