Sorry, and also, just to make sure. After you copy & burn PS2 game to DVD using DVD Decrypter, and try to play it, is your ps2 going to give you a message like "please insert playstation or playstation2 dvd"? Just scared. Unsure.

you will need a mod chip or a swap magic with a boot disc, otherwise your ps2 wont recognise the game. Same goes for any games you download

Yep, if you didn't need a mod to play these games, don't you think you Modchip companies would go out of business?

PS and since people always for get this. Swap Magic alone will not play back ups.
You will ned an aftermarket flip top or one other mod to stop the PS2 from resetting when you swap discs.

just wanted to add that, backup or downloaded versions of swap magic won't work.
so you will have to get the original swap magic discs with the appropriate tools.

"sigh" so, there isn't any way to play games but to purchase the boot disc. How much approx. does it cost? Can't you download it too? It's the only way besides the chip? Yo, you can still play the games by the emulator without needing the boot disc right? But even worse, you need a bios.
