I'm playing WWE SD! vs. RAW 2006 and during a few of the wrestlers intros the music and the announcer will mute, yet the action is still uninterrupted. Its obvious its trying to stream the data off the disc(as its the usual PS2 loading sound). Is this a bad media problem (TDK), and would a better (verbatim?) media fix this issue?

yes, half the playback problems are media related. also try cleaning your laser.

i wud recommend u get high quality 8x made in Japan media like taiyo yuden/maxell/verbatims and burn them at 4x.
