Use windip/winhip. PM me your email address for the latest version of it.
I had the same problem then I used the above.

I can't get mine to play online either. I used Windip 1.7 for the DNAs patching, but I get an 832 error when I try to connect.
I got my DNAS code from my original copy, so there shouldn't be anything wrong with it. I tried doing one copy with the Windip patch before rebuilding the game with Apache, and one where I patched after rebuilding, both give me the 832 error.
There's no way I'm buying a third copy of this disc.

Right update thourght I'd done it but haven't this is what I have done
1)made an iso on hdd with dvd decrypter
2)used windip also on other atempts used winhip
3)gone to patch it only patchs one file of the two its found
4)creat the disc put in playstation invalid media not a valid ps2 disc
but if I just copy it it works O.K
as soon as I patch it says not a valid ps2 disc
this is the seventh copy I have bought because I thourght it was my original copy so took it back 7 times.
I'm using expensive media which I know works because I make a backup of every game I have so the kids dont go skating on them.
I have numerous backups of my online games and all work perfectly apart from this one game

I've gotten a backup to work offline perfectly, but online there's just no way in hell.

Well.. I managed to get my backup of it online as I said earlier.. all I did was use the version of windip that I have, scanned it, it marked locations that could be patched, I patched it, burnt it and it was fine!
If any of you want my version just ask, and I will host it.

Lol Ok. I've hosted it. Nake sure you have WinRAR to extract it!
My Version of Windip - http://freespace.virgin.net/crimson.king/windip)v1[1]7.rar
If it still fails, try doing it after a re-build, or without a re-build,
or before a re-build!

Thanks a bunch. I got it to work finally. I got it with the dnas patched before the rebuild.
Want to know what my problem turned out to be? It's a long story how I figured this out so I'll skip that part, but my DNAS disc ID utility displays sixes when it means nines; and nines when it means sixes! When I accidentally figured that out, it was smooth sailing afterwards.
Thanks for all the help!
