Yeah I guess it may be possible. I'm not calling that person a liar, it just doesn't seem very likely that someone brand new to the backup scene could pull off something noone else ever has. Maybe he backed up a copy that someone else had already rebuilt. Or maybe he doesn't have a Dual Layer Burner, so he can only rip the first layer of the game. That could explain why it freezes at that particular part. Either way it's not real important. Cheers!

I was just curious about the whole DVD9 thing with Swap Magic. I've read alot of threads saying that you can't boot DVD9 games with swap magic no matter what, but I've booted every Sakura Taisen game successfully without problems. Of course, they were originals. Are the backup DVD9 discs the one's that won't boot or do all DVD9 discs (including originals) not boot? I can confirm that there are exceptions because the original discs of the Sakura Taisen games (Sakura Taisen: Atsuki Chishio Ni, Sakura Taisen: Mysterious Paris, Sakura Taisen V: Episode 0, Sakura Taisen V) boot with Swap Magic 3.3 and 3.6.

Yes it's DVD-9 backups Swap Magic won't boot. The PS2 boots DVD-9 originals, not Swap Magic.

Awseome. I was starting to get worried that I would have to back up all of my imported DL originals to DVD5. Thanks.
