Can't start import with swap magic 3.6

I got magic keys 2 with swap magic 3.6 since i have v14 ps2 (NTSC-US)

when i tried to start my original japanese import (train simulator real KTK),
swap magic just said "not a valid ps2 disk"

I can't figure out why this is happening..
Can it be because the disk might be the dual layer dvd?
I thought swap magic works just fine with all ORIGINAL imports.

swap magic can't boot dual layer disc. You have to rebuild and burn it to a DVD5 .

i tried to rebuild it,
however i found out that the game i'm trying to start is NOT DVD-9
(2.66gigs.. definitely single layer, right?)

is there any other possible reasons why i can't start my ORIGINAL SINGLE LAYER import?

ive just brought a slim one so imreading alot on the tools have got them installed right have you played ne other games

i have installed magic keys somewhat properly
(disk is spinning but couldn't close the lid)
and the "train simulator" is the only import i have
and the reason why i bought ps2 and swap magic..
