why dont those amazon sample audio clips burn to cd.
I have been looking for these short sound clips to add to my photo slideshow. some work some do not.

the ones at amazon will not let me do anything but listen.
i think they are wma files.

if they're wma files then they're probably copy-protected with DRM. just download the songs from a P2P app like soulseek.

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:

The sample clips are only around 30 seconds anyway. Doesn't seem that long enough to me.
