What does it mean to unlock your cell phone and what can you do with an unlocked cell phone? I've read some of the other threads where people ask for a code to unlock their phone, but where would you go to insert this code. I owner a cingluar LG1300 but i don't see an unlock phone anywhere on the meun. So could some one give me alittle more info on unlocked phones or direct me to another thread that has some helpful information about it. Thanks.

I need to know if anyone can help me. I bought a Samsung X426 phone on e-bay and its locked to AT & T, can anyone tell me how to unlock it?
