I recently backed up the matrix path of neo for the ps2. I've also installed the PS2 flip top cover on my PS2 also. A problem I'm having when I play the backed up version of the game is I sometimes get a message from the game that it cannot detect the anolog contoller in port 1. What could be causing this?, because I dont get messages like that from original versions of games. Also I dont know if it matters but I'm using swap magic 3.6.

I did back that game up on a very low speed like .2. Yes it took like 4 hours to burn. Can you explain how you backed it up. I used Alcohol 120% to copy and burn the mdf files, using lightscribe dvd+r media. Also was your backup completely perfect?

Try burning it with dvd decrypter!
And don't use dvd+r dvd-r are better for backups!

yup, I burn the game with DVD Decrypter, normal process.
first: MODE>ISO>READ.
then: MODE>ISO>WRITE | 4x speed and DVD-R.
I never have used Swap Magic. So, I can't help you using Swap Magic.
I use CogswapLoader to boot the games.

you probably need to re build it, then burn onto a good quality media.
