Did you read Hursty's post in the other thread? Apparently you can finish this game with Swap Magic.
From Hursty:
Quote: i have just taken a look at onimusha 4,i am at stage 5 on disk 1,the strange thing is ,i loaded in disk 2,loaded game data from the memory card, and on disk 2,the game continues on disk 2,where i saved it on disk 1.
i think this game spans across both disk's,with overlapping levels
btw:someone has played this game with swapmagic, and completed disk 1,and saved it,then continued on disk 2,9confirmed on other site)

It works. Thank you both so much. Tokijin, I have another questin for you- I am confused. So did you say you were able to swap disc for psx multidisc games like ffvii and ffvii with breakerpro? How do you do it?

This is great. You would happen to know where I can find a compatablity list of games that work on breakerpro and games that just won't work with it. All the images of Wild arms that I can find boots and then freezes-I can't seem to figure out what's the problem. Any ideas?

Yep had the same issue with Wild Arms. Like you I got several different versions of the iso. I wasted several CD-R's on it. I burned it with Nero, Alcohol 120%, CDRWIN, and Clone CD. It freezes after you start a new game, regardless of who you choose to start as. It's a compatiblility issue with Breaker Pro. It plays fine on with my Matrix Infinity, no freezing at all. Same deal with Legend of Mana. It won't play with Breaker Pro on a PS2. It will play with a modchip though. I don't know of any compatibility lists for Breaker Pro. I used it with about 90 PSX backups. I used it with PAL backups, import backups, and NTSC-US backups, and mod-protected games (patched those with PPF Patcher). Those were the only two games I had issues with. Any other issues I had I traced to the iso. Once I got a working iso of those games, they played fine. Be wary of PSX ISO's you get off a certain well known site, they're full of bugs. I had good success with PSX games downloaded via BitTorrent.
You can find plenty of rare PSX ISO's here: http://70.85.9.138:8989/
You have to sign up, but it's free.

Thanks for the link. It's just a da*mn shame wild arms doesn't work!!! I would kill to play this game. You know how the ps2 you can download saves and burn to a cd and load it to your memory card? Well is there any similar method like this for the psx? I want do download psx save states and transfer them to my psx memory card and load them with breakerpro without buying the dex drive or any of that business.

No idea man. I really didn't get into the backup scene til about 6 months ago. So as far as PSX mods and downloading saves, I really have no idea. I've never even used the save builder method for PS2 games. You'll have to look around for that one. Cheers!
