1. I bought a 100 pack of Taiyo Yuden DVD-R 8X (made in Japan) I would like to know if this media brand is good for backing up PS2 games and is it a gurantee for it to work.

2. Do I have to do any kind of formating for this DVD brand or can I just start burning PS2 games right away with DVD Decrypter.

3. Do backed up PS2 games work on Widescreen HDTV or does it only work on Standard TV's, cause I have a Widescreen HDTV.

I've never heard of that before, but I think both me and i_suck agree that verbatim is the best. Also I have a link to my guide to both swap magic a nd DVD decrypter burning games in my sig below.

1. many people agree that those are the very best discs you can use
2. no, just burn with DVD Decrypter (assuming you have a modded ps2)
3. yeah, they work on widescreen also
