I am currently downloading Call of Duty 2 for PC but my PC does not have dvd drive only cd drive without even a burner. My friend told me to use Daemon tools to play the game, some sort of emulation or something. Can anyone lead me step by step how to do that? Thanks.

Double click on Daemon Tools icon. Then it will appear in system tray. Then right click on it and select mount. Then point it to the iso so it is going to show drive E or F or whatever. Then play it.

Is that how you create Virtual Dvd Drive?

Daemon Tools will create multiple virtual drives (I think four). Alternatives providing a single virtual drive enclude: Nero Image Drive as part of Nero, and Virtual Clone Drive from Slysoft (free download).

I am sorry, but I do not understand how to play Call of Duty 2 using Daemon Tools if I don't have dvd drive, could you please explain it step by step because in the 1st reply I didn't really get it, it was indefinite. Thanks.

These virtual drives mount and play DVD or CD disk images. Whether you will be able to use these virtual DVD players depends upon what type of files you are downloading. Everyone is assuming you are downloading a DVD image.

I think the file is .ISO because the name of a file is: "Call_Of_Duty_2_DVD+Crack+Serial.ISO" is it still gonna work?

Your file sounds like more than just the movie. Unsure what the refernce to the "crack" is but it sounds like an illegal use of some unpaid for program. If you have a movie iso, virtual drives will play it.

Thanks for the comment, but I think all people that have read what I said in my first reply know what I mean. 1st - how can I download Call of Duty 2? Think about it. And yes, now you are actually understanding that It cannot be anything but an illegal downloading program. After seeing what peoplel talk about in these forums, I am not sure that it's a big illegal problem. Chill out. Btw could you help me at least, I mean I am not asking questions about movies or anything,,,,

Nobody at AD advocates using a "crack" for any program. Your first question was how to play an iso file, and that was answered. As far as how you can download the file, depends upon where it is downloaded from. Ask the provider service for help.

He's right.

Stick to your original question, and don't volunteer what people don't need to know.

You're downloading a pirated game: The game file and a crack for the gamefile make it playable.

Pirating software is illegal - and last time I checked, if you're caught doing it (for movies anyway) it's a (up to) a $250,000 fine and quite a few years in prison...

Now - if you bought the game, then created an .ISO from the game file, all you's have to do is open your program (I use Virtual Clone DRive) and mount the .ISO file in the Clone Drive, and you'd be able to play the game that way, regardless of what type of ROM you have (DVD, CD, whatever...)

...Don't pirate software.

look 1 hint for you ..... never tell people more then they need to know....2nd Deamon is a wonderfull thing, basically it lets u have 4-5 extra disk drives.. they are virtual and record to you hard drive...this means there is a file in you pirated game that you need to mount for the game to read the drive as having the legitimate disk..as for the piracy penalty .... all you have to say is that its a backup for the game you bought and lost....

as far as solving your problem ..there should be a readme folder that will instruct you as to which file to mount....if its cheap it wont and youll have to play around with it...

ya whatever.......
