I didn't rebuild either game, and they both work completely fine for me. I just burnt them onto Taiyo Yuden 8X DVD-R at 4X. Also, my Fight Night is the same size, and Matrix-PON was 4.37gb.

There is no need to rebuild. Only if the game is over 4.7 gbs do you need to rebuild and make into a single layer disc. I just burned tiger woods 2006 and it was 4.6 gbs and i did not rebuild it and it worked fine. Fight night round 3 does not need rebuilding i also burned that game too.

you dont need to rebuild it. just go to mode>iso>read in DVD Decrypter. Then when done go to mode>iso>write, select the MDS file and burn at the lowest speed possible!! 2.4x is what i use and it always works.

Use a good quality brand, such as fujifilm, verbatim or maxell and if possible use DVD+R, from my experience it works a lot better.

PS2 V4 | Swap Magic 3.3
NEC ND-3500A | Maxell DVD+R
HDAdvance | 120 GB WD HD
