What is the best mod chip going around now?

I've read a lot of the stickies and I don't really understand the subtlties of each mod chip. I was wondering generally what is the best one. Also if it requires soldering is it easy to follow the directions and hook it up if I don't know too much about electricity? Are there any non soldering mod chips that are good? Thanks. Any info would be appreciated.

If you do not know what your doing do not attempt to install a mod chip yourself. The diagrams you see on the net make the wires and connections look huge when really there tiny. Put that together with the expense of the correct wire, needle point soldering iron and chip and you may as well send the whole console off to someone to do it for you.
The only non solder method of installing a mod chip I know of is the DMS4 ezi, which is a good chip but some people have even had problems installing that.
My advice is to send your console to a professional installer to get it done. GOOGLE is your friend, it will find you someone.
