you cannot rebuild this game

I took a look at the link above on how to split a DVD9 game but the intructions arent too clear plus i cannot find where to download isoedit by sonix. someone has got to make an easier guide.

Try Gnie's ExPERT auto rebuilder to see if it's a success. I'm not 100% sure if it's possible, but hey... it won't hurt to try and waste just one blank you know.

i tried the gnie's rebuilding tool for MGS2 SUBSTANCE. no good...
I have a huge problem trying to rip MGS2:Substance PS2 and use it with SWAP MAGIC 3.6. I've followed the old guide step by step and the hexing guide, but when i use CD/DVD GENERATOR to make the .IML file it says "TOO SHORT LOCATION LENGTH" So then i replaced the three 1 byte dummy files i recreated to the original DEMO2, STAGE2, & VOX2.DAT files, created the .IML file, used .IML2ISO then burned it with DVD Decrypter and it was no good. the game stood on the black screen after LOAD PROGRAM. WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING WRONG WITH THE DUMMY FILES??????? PLZ HHHHEEEEEEELLLLLLPPP!
U gay!

you need to remove this 3 files
SLUS_205.54
\MODULES\IOPRP255.IMG
\SKATE\IOPRP255.IMG
dvd9 check(already remove the check,i dont have the game,if anyone want this 3 files,pm me)
and dummy this 3 files, mean replace those 3 files to zero-byte
or you can use this software ZeroFile.dll( http://www.alucard.cc/forums/index.php?module=Downloads;sa=dlview... )
Quote: ZeroFile Windows Shell Extension- Developed by Gaidin
This dll is designed to save you some time when using Windows Explorer to backup you PS2 games. Unzip the dll into you system directory (i.e. winnt\system32, windows\system). Register the dll using the following command from the DOS prompt or the Start/Run... menu.
regsvr32.exe /s /c ZeroFile.dll
Once that's done, if you right click on any file in Windows Explorer the popup menu will display a new menu option "Replace with dummy". If you click this item, the selected file will be deleted to the Recycle Bin and a 0 byte dummy will be created in it's place. If you mess up, simply restore your file from the Recycle Bin.
or use my Easy_File_Maker Ver 1.02
http://www.alucard.cc/forums/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=808.... DEMO2.DAT
STAGE2.DAT
VOX2.DAT
then drag and drop to your cdvdgen, you know what to do with this, then just export .iml file, and use my gdvd_iml2iso tool to generate the iso file, that all
