it is but you need to know how to hack via wirelessly and it still wouldn't matter even if you make the backup because you cannot play the backup because no one has figured out how to decrypt the security file
on the ds cartrage so people have been using passthough devices with the metroid prime hunters demo to load illegal games and homebrew
