CD-ROM to DVD-ROM HELP!!!!

ok i know this sounds extremely stupid but i just went out and bought GTA San Andreas and its only in DVD-ROM format...well i only have two CD-ROM's and i dont want to go out and buy a DVD-ROM to play this but is there any possible way on the face of the earth to install this on a CD-ROM like any software i could use or some kinda device or something cause believe me i dont want to go out and buy one but please help me with any suggestions i have got 1 Lite-On 52x cd-rom and a liteon 48x cd-rom so any suggestions cause i know there has to a way please!!!...

Any procedure that will let a CD-ROM read a DVD will be a lot more truoble than just buying DVD Burner I'd imagine.

1. I don't think it's possible for a CD-Rom to play that game since everything streams off the disc due to the size of the map.

2. DVD burners are very cheap 40 bucks can buy U one. And they ever very easy to install. Just take out the cd drive u have and put all the wires in the DVD drive the exact same way.

It's time to upgrade player, Face it.

ok well i get my paycheck on Tuesday and then will go get one but what kind do you think i should get?? maybe another lite-on or something thats like 16x dual layer??

There stuff arives in like 2 days.

And just open you computer, Keep one of your hands on the metal case. (Don't be discouraged by how difficult it may be to unlossen those damn connections, they WILL come out, just keep at it)

Make sure you take the "Jumper" or the little plastic piece in the back and set it to slave or Master (opposite of whatever the drive your leaving in, i'd set it to slave is I was U)

Make sure you remember what color wire on the power the connect goes to which side and but everything back like you had it with the cd-rom.

If id doesn't work, change the jumper settings. Sometimes you have to take the jumper all the way off.
