hi, i finally decided to get a graphics card priced about £100.
i want to be able to play new games on it, on fairly high settings.
what is the difference between the 6600GT and 6600LE. is it because one is pci-e and the other is AGP?
at the moment i have a 128mb nvidia geforce FX5200 - pretty rubbish
my pc is a dell 4600
3.0GHZ - pentium 4 with HT
512mb ram - will upgrade to 1gb within a month
160gb hard-drive
128mb geforce 5200
--------
i would prefer to get a nvidia geforce card but i dont mind ati if it is better.
and how can u tell a card is better? is it the RAMdac, pixel pipelines? i dont have a clue when looking at the technical terms/specs.
thanks for the help,
ps. if u find any gud cheap website links let me know

get the geforce 6600GT, its much much better then LE, LE is the lowest version of the 6600 series, but still a good card, you can get both on agp. hope this helps rudebwoy.

Its Pixel pipelines core clock speed memory clock speed RMdac thats really it, and u want a brand that everyone has heard off, i think for that price the bet u can get is a 6600GT as agp.
Hope this helps as well ;)

i'll just stick to ebay.
the specs of a 6600GT AGP dont really look dat gud! apart from the core clock being a little higher.
i've found some on ebay for about £110. i'm just saving up for the graphics card. should not take me more than a month. i dont exactly have a job becoz i'm still at skul (15yrs old) and i also just spent £300 jap xbox and another £280 on uk xbox. i'm selling my ps2 which should help me money wise when buying the card.
any more gud cards? let me know!
