I am trying to use codebreaker cheats on my backup game and I cant. I have a swap magic 3.6 I have tried Many way to make it work but it didnt. I put codebreaker then swap magic, then the backup DVD game and it didnt work. Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was having trouble with the Code Breaker for a little while as well. I was able to get the Code Breaker Version 8.0 to work by turning disc tray automatic eject on, loading the codes, hit start game so the tray ejects. Placed the Swap Magic 3.6 in the tray and pressed the X button on the controller so the PS2 automatically closed and loaded the disc, after that Swap Magic loaded and I used the flip top to get my burnt game to run perfectly fine.

damn newbies, can you not just ask you question without all
this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! crap?
your urgency will not help, people answer when and if they can and that is extemely annoying to see in the subject line.

You may need to search the posts to find the answer. I have heard many different methods for loading back ups with cheats and some require a seperate program called DVD Loader

Putting codebreaker, then swap magic, then the game does work, but only for some games, I tried putting cheats for my prince of persia and it didnt work.

have to agree with steimy on that but you wont be the first and wont be the last

yes a simple swap will work with most games but not all mostly they dont work with games that have been rebuilt but thats just a theory!
