Black NTSC stuttering after shrinking

I did an lba fix on the ntsc version of Black, and burnt it to a taiyo yuden at 4x.
I havent had any probs with anything else since ive had the taiyos.
Is it the game itself , a bad burn or because I shrunk it?
Im not very interested in it to go making coasters to figure it out.
