Besides the price as far as quality goes? I'd burn the 4x at 2.4x (not much difference than 2x is there?), and of course the 8x at 4x. Speed aside, the 4x bundle of 100 is only $26.99 whereas the 8x is near $40, so, if I have the time, are they comparable with quality, or is 8x better in quality?

Well, 8x is usually mostly the "used" media, And if it cost more, than it probally is better media than 4x. I always thought, if you have 8x, The disc will load faster by 8 times, but maybe I'm wrong.

Interesting on the loading quicker, makes sense that it would. I was thinking part of the price difference would be simply that 8x is faster than 4x, therefore, you are paying for the convenience of the speed factor? Like I said, if there is a performance gain that is beyond neglible, I'd certainly get the 8x.
