you might try magic dvd copier it does a good job on box sets you know like friends the tv show one through the last one i think it took twelve disks and it copyed the whole disk of each disk and did a good job almost as good as the old dvd x copy the one that i started with and the backup's are just as good to day as the day i first backed them up at least three years ago, and at the time i was using cheep media and i guess i got lucky because all of them are still good and play fine on my three standalone players home theater panonsonic 5.1 1000 wats old sanyo and older apex

This is Fairly Simple and Complicated at the Same Time and should work for the Most Part...

What you do is Install AnyDVD and then Rip each VOB file off of the DVD seperately untill you Find the Offending (NON_Ripable) file and simply Ignore it and Procede to ripp all of the Files that you can...

When you are Done you should have Most of the Movie ripped to your HD, then use a Mpeg Idit or like "Womble Mpeg2VCR" to Join all the VOB files into a Big MPEG-2 file in the Correct order and then Load the MPEG-2 file into a DVD authoring program and author it to DVD....

You can also use "BadCopy Pro" (With ANYDVD) to rip the DVD and have it Ignore Corrupted Sectors or Fill them with Zero"s and you should be able to get most of the Movie Ripped ..(BadCopy Pro is a Data Recovery Program made for Recovering Daya from Bad and Corrupted Disks)
