ive got an album thats too big for a cd its 5 mins over is there any way to get the full album on the cd

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:

yes, but I think he's trying to burn an audio CD, not an mp3 CD. Most newer CD burners can do an over-burn feature, which can burn ~5-7 extra minutes. You need a burning app like Nero that can do it though.
