DVDrip to DVD problem!

ok i finally figured out how ur supposed to convert and burn a CD game to DVD thanks to hursty:) you have to use DVDScanLIte. so i downloaded a DVDrip so it was able to fit on a CD but i didn't want to. in the guide there was also something about if its a DVDrip u have to use DVDscanlite and restore scan it and then scan it to DVD. i got that part. but then i burned it to DVD and used swap magic and then it just goes blank. what is wrong? i use Sony DVD and they worked before with other games and have looked at the common swap magic problems thread. i dont want to waste any more DVD's so can anyone tell me whats wrong?
