i am downloading 703 mb movie down is 54.kb and upload is 47.kb
how could i change upload in utorrent???????? also could i get better download kbs. checked port and says this OK! Port 32459 is open and accepting connections .but sometimes it says that port aint open could i try different number?????were in utorrent settings could i set the upload speed thanks

just double click the file and boom...you can change upload and download.

yes cbrooks and thanks. when i double click on the torrent i cant seem to get a good number in there so upload is slower than download. anyway d/l is at 20 and u/l is at 50 kbs that is on one i have running now

It all depends on seed to peer ratio, if u have more peers, ur u/l will be quicker.
Tweaking the settings only adjusts the speeds slightly, having a healthy torrent makes all the differnce in the world.
It also depends on what u want to do, if u want to fix/up ur ratio, u just jump on a early torrent w/ lots of leechers so when done theres lots of people to share it to and u over seed.
If u want a file quickly simply get on one w/ a lot of seeders and less leechers (seed to peer ratio).

go > options > network > max global speed and put your upload speed there ,you set that at 80% of your upload ,then alternate upload rate when not download and set that to 0 and dont forget to tick the box ,.see if this helps your downloads ,but remember to seed until your ratio is 1.000.
