Companies like that change manufacturers all the time, just because you got some decent discs this time, doesn't mean they will be good next time (memorex is like that too.

i got 200 dynex dvd+r's for free from bestbuy after rebate. i still have over 150 left. if they're good, i might as well use them right? just don't want my laser to wear out

i've burned soul calibur 3 and burnout revenge with these. both work great
i'm just afraid they might wear out my laser. ahhhh!

any burnt disc is going to wear out your laser. As long as the games play fine and there are no noises, the discs should be fine. Plus the money you saved on the discs can buy you a new laser when needed.

high quality discs wear out your laser less than low quality discs. Either way, burnt discs have less reflectivity than original discs.
