So today i installed the Independence Exploit onto my PS2 and at first everything seemed to be going fine, i was able to load the exploit onto my memory card without issue and it booted into PS2menu when i put in my trigger disc

when i go into either CD Loader(CD7BET52) or CogSwapLoader, it can detect original PS1 and PS2 games and it can boot PS2 games(PS1 doesnt seem to work but thats not an issue really) but when i try to boot up any backup ive attempted to make CD Loader sais invalid disc while CogSwapLoader just doesn't do anything

does anyone know whats going on?

1. Its not going to boot ps1 games (there is a program you can put on there, but i don't remember the name).
2. How are you swapping games (fliptop, slidecard, etc)?

i am under the impression(i really hope i'm not wrong) that using the independence exploit, i could play backup games without doing anything to the system(its just a normal PS2)

i have no issue reaching the CD Loader/CogSwapLoader screen and i can open the drive without the system rebooting or screwing up

You have to have a way of putting in your burnt disc without hitting eject.

well i know in the case of CD Loader, it can eject the drive by pressing the triangle button although i'm not sure if thats a solution to what you said

if so, what would be the cheapest(and easiest) way to do this?

no, that wont work. Slide card is the cheapest (you can make it yourself).

for dvd backups (cd loader):
you must hit eject
insert a big original ps2 dvd game (needs to be bigger than the backup your trying to load)
let it read, hit x
should say something about ea method
use slide card and swap for burnt game
