i'm not sure if many of you have heard of it, but those who have, does it turn white ipod yellow? any personal expeirences?

Brasso does cover up minor scratches very well, but it won't cover real deep scratches on your iPod. I suggest you apply it, and once your iPod is fairly 'scratch-free', then get yourself a silicone cover to prevent scratches & everyday marks appearing in the future.
