Whats the deal with changing the books in this APP? I dont understand what to do here. Is this Needed? Im using RITEKG05 DVDs.

Booktype is to change the disc to a +R or -R or - Rom so its more compatable with stand alone dvd players.

You can only booktype DVD+R.


Many people Booktype their DVD+R to a DVD-Rom for PS2 games as the PS2 default games are all -ROM.

I've only just downloaded the latest firmware for my DVD-RW drive so it supports Booktyping so im a noob.

I think it is in DVD Decrypter under Tools->drives
then you will find it and can change it if needed.
If you are using -R media then do not bother as you can only booktype +R media, and only need to do that if you are running into a lot of problems with games not working or having audio/video problems.
