Cant get the PS2 DiscPatcher V 3.0 to patch the ISO to make it a master disc. Anyone know what the problem is? It keeps saying error searching for exe filename in system.cnf. Any idea why this isnt working?

you don't need a patch, you don't need to make it a master iso either, just iso.

i did that it doesnt work on my debugged test ps2. I know that all backups need to be turned into a master ISO to work in the debugged test stations to boot correctly. Just wondering if any of you know whats going on. What program did you use to burn Black?

Ye i copied black straight MODE-ISO-READ to build the ISO. then MODE-ISO-WRITE depending if youve got crap media burn at 1 or 2.4x, if youve got good media like samsung dvd+r's or arita +r's burn at half the max speed. Black works fantastically on my ps2 with samsung +rs.

I have the original ISO (Pal), when I burnt my first copy, it boot's but it 'lags' well freezes and puts me off so I'm going to try now/

the only game i've ever had that lags is nba live 2005, and the only reason was i was using +r media instead of -r media. once i switched i haven't ran into that problem again
