Hey I have a _NEC DVD_RW ND-2500A 1.08 (ATA)

I flashed it with Mad Dog 8XDVDRW-PM 2.F8* from

http://www.herrie.org/ So I could use booktyping.

I just tried burning a DVD+R and the buffer keeps jumping up and down it said estimated time for burn was 1 hour 20 mins as buffer was really low so I stopped burn.

Anyone know whats wrong? Did my flash mess up my DVD-RW ? Cheers

You could try going to http://forum.rpc1.org/portal.php

and search for your drive's latest firmware.. not the unsupported ones!! and downlaod and flash it to that, see if that fixes the problem.. just remember to follow the instructions for installing the firmware properly.
