is there any known patches that work
cause if not i probably wasted money on this import
i have already tried adr and pal2ntsc to no avail

You should use the YfiX version, not the adrenaline one. PM me your email address and I will send you it.

Swap Magic 3 can change the colour system (NTSC,PAL)
use video mode for those PAL game to ntsc(video mode to ntsc),
Press (SQUARE) although you can use X its advised that you use Square

You don't know if he is using Swap Magic or not, also, that cuts off half of the screen, it is much better to just use the YFiX patch.
