just burn your converted files to disk using Nero. use the dvd video option. if you want to convert the film quicker. try using winavi. it takes approx 30-40 mins to convert.

I takes a while to convert AVI to dvd because AVI is a compressed format.
Nero vision puts your video files onto dvd.
You can use it to put the AVI files straight to dvd, the AVI files will be converted in the process. You can convert the AVI with menus subtitles etc, it supports the creation of such things aswell

depends on the quality output

the higher quality you want, the longer it will take

just set it and go read a book or watch tv or something its best not to use the xomputer when conversion is in progress

AVI can be almost anything you want. It's just a container. You can put pretty much any format in there, so whether it's compressed, or how much, is determined by the contents, not the AVI extension.
