"Truncate" feature in Azureus

Hello,

I was downloading a torrent in Azureus and I wanted to remove some files that were in my download list that were 100% completed. I highlighted these files and clicked "delete". It asked me if I wanted to trunate the files to save space, so I pressed yes. Now in the folder in my hard drive, the files look like they are full size, but they look like they are not completely done yet because it's not in its typical viewable format. So I can't convert the files properly to transfer them on my iPod.

Is there a way to recover "truncated" files, or do I have to download it all over again?
