Recently purchased Nero7 Ultra. I have MCE 2005 with all latest patches + TT (Theatertek) + FFDShow. Everything works fine in Nero except when I start Nero vision, the PC bluescreens and restarts. Numerous email to Nero tech support did not help. They had me uninstall/reinstall Nero several times with no luck. It seems like some kind of Codec conflict issue but I cannot figure it out. Any ideas?? I tried uninstalling TT and purevideo decoder but that did not help either. I tried cleantool too with no luck.
I have exactly the same problem. What video card do you have? Mine is a ATI 9600xt all-in-wonder and ver 8.8 of the media center. I suspect it is the video system.

I did a crash dump analysis. Looks like Nero is causing problem with MCE Firewire STB drivers (msistb.sys). Do you have firewire recording enabled too?
you need to keep problems confined to a single thread, at the very least it's confusing for others when you spawn new threads for the same problem, but it's also multiposting, so pls let's not have any more duplicate threads thanks
