Firstly I would like to apologise for I have also put this thread in the noobies area but I have not received any asnwers so I thought maybe it is on the wrong place, so I am asking the big guns now:

Im trying to find a way to burn movie files and data to the same DVD so a person can see a video file in a DVD player (or computer) and then access separate files in the same DVD tru the computer.

What exactly I'm trying to do is I made a slide show of a set of pictures to be display on DVD so it is a movie file with sound and menu at the begining and it took about 2 gigs of the DVD (about 500+ pictures) but I also want to put the original pictures also in the DVD as there is enough space in the DVD for it but I tried adding an extra folder and then it doesnt not work as a video dvd and thenm qhen i tried to burn it it as a data Nero was telling me that I was adding some video files and they were not going to work if I did it that way either so Im lost here. Maybe someone knows how to do it and could tell me or tel me what program to use, I was using Nero 7.

ok I've done this before and I've just been trying to rember how
I think I created a data disk transferd the video_ts folder onto the disk then added the folder containing the pics to the complimation ignored neros warnings about dvd compliant files and it worked at least thats what i think I did
another option would be to burn the dvd you have created to an iso then use isobuster to added the extra folder the burn the resulting iso
