Ok I have a ps2 slim and I am having problems running some games cut-scenes. My games usually work but the cut scenes stuuter. My laser looks pretty good too. I figure the problem lies in my memorezz dvd i am using. So I am wondering if this Taiyo yuden would work on my ps2. I dont know much on DVD-R or DVD+R so I dont know whether to buy it or not.

Could someone tell me if this media here would work on slim ps2 befor ei buy it? I am no expert at dvd.

You shouldn't have any issues with TY's. V.4 PS2's and later should handle DVD+R's booktyped to DVD-ROM fine. It's highly recommended that your burner supports booktyping/bitsetting if you use DVD+R's.

53. Q. What is Booktyping?
A. Booktyping is the ability to burn a DVD+R so it that appears as a pressed DVD-ROM in any DVD-ROM drive it's inserted in. If you booktype DVD+R's, this allows for greater compatibility with most stand alone DVD players, including your PS2. Your burner has to support booktyping (most newer ones do).
