actually, that is what I used to get it down to 3.7g, but when I try to play it in the playstation 2, with swap magic 3.6, when I try to load it, it just goes to a black screen, I tried the cddvdgen, but it would export the iml files

jbadam01,
please read the stickies at the top of the discussion page:
"Easy Methods to rebuild PS2 games, including GRAN TURISMO 4, 50CENT & XENOSAGA Episode 1 by Alkohol"
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/275350
lucky for you, Quote: In this guide, I will use 50CENT BULLETPROOF, since it's 5.95GB and many newbies (Swap Magic users) are having troubles rebuilding or backing up the game and or any games that's over 4.7GB.

thanks chanman, however I already tried that, when it got to the part where you are in cddvdgen, and you have to export iml files, well it won't export mine, I thought since I got it down to 3.7g from like 7 that it would play, but it is just a black screen, I guess because it was a DVD9 dual layer game, what else can I use to fix it

after I drag files over into cddvdgen, then I enter the volume info, then I go to file, go to export iml, I choose the folder to put them in, then hit save, but it won't do anything when I hit save, I hit it several times, I have even tried cddvdgen 2.0, but it did the same thing, any suggestions
