Help copying ps2 GAMES!

I used DVD decrypter to copy and then burned a Ps2 Game, but when I put it in the Ps2 it said that the game is not in ps2 Format so CAN ANY ONE HELP ME? ANY SUGGESTIONS?

well u need a modchip. OR, Swap Magic and slidecard. OR, swap magic and fliptop. one of those. search the web. there are sites that sell them. if u want it modded, though, GET A PRO TO DO IT! u dont want to screw ur PS2

it all depends. swap magic is simpler and u dont have to solder or anything. but although i still use swap magic, modchips i think are more efficient in the long run, even if they cost more. u dont have to rebuild hence they can do dual layered, they can play both NTSC and PAL region so u dont have to patch anything, etc. but its purely choice. some people who have swap magic love it as well

Yes, because online games detect modchips. There is a crystal chip, something like that I heard of, which auto-patches them. But it's best with Swap Magic, because you can patch it with the DNAS and then play it.

ps. SOCOM is an exception. Neither Swapmagic or a crystal chip can play this game as a backup. If you want to play any SOCOM game, you will hsve to get hold of an original.
