I have been having a problem with some of my movie torrent downloads after they have been %100 totally done being downloaded.....When I try to view the sample movie that comes with the torrent Windows Media Player will open and attempt to play the sample file only to have a message pop-up saying "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Send or Don't Send a report." Then the same thing pops up but saying "Internet Explorer" in the message. So I decide to just convert the movie file that I am left with after extraction with DVD SANTA. Only to have the infamous message pop-up appear again when I click on the "create dvd" button this time saying that DVD SANTA has encountered a problem!? Also after closing each of these messages (either sending or not sending the report) my screen goes blank for a few seconds and finally takes me back to my desktop with everything closed!!!!??? Please! For the love of GOD, can someone (and not just 3 or 4 people with barely a clue like every other post I have sent in desperation in the past) HELP me!? Anyone out there with a similar problem? I'd hate to have to just delete the entire torrent if something can be done!!? Thanks in advance ;)

I'm not sure if this will allow in here, but I guess I'll let the MOD decide what to do. Well, since I'm here already, I'll tell you what needs to be done. It seems like Windows Media is having some issues playing your movies or files maybe due to some codecs error.

Go here http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Mega_Codec_Pack.htm and download the latest "K-Lite Mega Codec Packs" it's FREE. Install on your system, if you don't know what you're doing, then I suggest you "checked" everything that included in the package (i.e. audio and video codecs). It even comes with Windows Media Classic Player and I GUARANTEE you that once you've installed "K-Lite Mega Pack", you will be able to play nearly 100% of all movie files with Windows Media Classic Player or even the latest Windows Media (your choice).

Good luck!!

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

Thanks 4 the reply but like I said it's not just playing the movie with Windows Media Player that is causing problems. When I open DVD Santa and go through all the steps and finally hit the "Create DVD" tab it does the same thing? I will try your idea also just incase. Thank You!
