I've been reading posts on here all day trying to find a thread that has talked about my problem but I can't find anything. I have the 60GB video IPOD and I'm running 6.0.4.2 the lastest version downloaded today. I have a couple of tv shows that I downloaded directly from the itunes site that show up in my library. I've set the library to automatically download when I'm docked and they still don't show up. I deleted itunes from the computer, reloaded and re-added those library files again, still a no show. Obviously new to the whole itunes deal so sorry for being stupid - but what am I doing wrong? What am I missing? Thx

no, nothing is stupid here ;-)
hmmmm.... try clicking and dragging the videos into the ipod in the source menu on the left (while the ipod is plugged in).
if that doesnt work, restore the ipod (if you dont know how, here is a tut on the subject:

If you have any iPod issues, Apple recommends doing the "Five R's". I don't know how useful this is to your situation, but it is worth a try.. http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/five_rs/

I'm not sure if anyone will see this down on the second page, but here's a try.
I've reset the ipod (sorry so slow, lots of songs) and came up with this error "Some of the songs in the ITunes music library including the song "video name here" were not copied to the Ipod because you are not authorized to play them on this computer".
I did buy these and download them to my work computer but backed up the files and brought them home, then tried to load them on the IPOD from this library. Probably not the smartest idea, but what to do now? How do I get them authorized for this computer? I think once I do that they'll download to the IPOD. I haven't tried to download anymore from ITunes here because of this problem. Any ideas?

Thanks Lethal and Jazo for the help - I've tried dragging and restoring and the last link from Lethal. Nothing. I've read up on the shared computers and files from Apple and there's nothing specific to this problem. They just don't show up. Back at work now on this computer and trying to manually load the videos here (where they originated from) and no such luck. Any more ideas guys? Thx

If you read the link I posted, it states that you cannot categorize your videos in the "TV Shows" section on the iPod Video ~ unless the video is downloaded from the iTunes music store..

all videos that i have are from the itunes music store - they're all battlestar galactia season 1 that I paid for- I just hate to lose them on my IPOD. I even tried to download a new show today that i didn't already have and it won't load to the ipod.
