C&C generals zero hour slows down:(

I have got C&C generals zero hour and it use to work fine when i had geforce MX-440 64mb but since i brought geforce fx 5200 256mb , it works slow now ... like for 5mins its fast and then its getting freeze in between though i just play with 1 to 2 players in the single play... my system is ;
Intel p4 2.0 ghz
1gb of ram
120gb hdd
256mb ddr geforce fx-5200
256kbps for net play..
PLZ HELP ME WITH DIS THING ...

That would probably be a good idea. Im assuming your geforce is a PCI card, then again, perhaps SLI since it's nvidia. HOnestly, I dont know.
