Atm i have just the basic PC Case, but i want to get a new one as its getting a bit cramped in there and a bit dusty and just over all looks boring. Just wanted to know is there anything i should take into account before moving all the stuff in my PC to a new case, because i dont wanna go messing anything up, it cost me £1600 so if i break ill be gutted. Thanks

moved. can use any case you want that accepts your motherboard but make certain motherboard power connector fits the psu connector or will need an adapter.

Get one that's big, has quiet fans (if it has some installed) and plenty of air flow, so room for fans rear side and ideally front. The more cooling the better, and don't buy cheap!

Here is a good place to start shopping:

http://www.newegg.com/ProductSort/Category.asp?Category=9

I bought a nice size tower with a 500 watt psu, 7 fans, 5 3.5" bays and 5 5.25" bays, plenty of space for extra lights, etc. see below:

Have fun and let us know what you decide.

1 GB Kingston
Plextor 716A Dvd-Rw

Didn't see it, what happened?

Yes you can usually move card readers to new cases as long as you remember (or better record) where it all plugged in.
Afaik Newegg deliver to the US and canada, but not anywhere else.

Which country are you in, and how much do you want to spend.
Are you also looking at getting a new PSU?

@Bigdk, im from the UK and want to spend about £100-£120 on a new case, i dont really want a new PSU the one i have at the moment is ok, but if it doesnt fit in the new case or looks out of place i dont mind getting a new one. Any ideas of what would be some good ones? I have been looking at the thermaltake range and i like these two:
http://www.thermaltake.com/product/Chassis/midtower/soprano/vb100...
http://www.thermaltake.com/product/Chassis/midtower/tsunami/bwa/b...
But i dont know where i can get them from in the UK, i also want to get water cooling as i have problems with over heating, so i need one that is capable of taking water cooling which these two are i think. Im thinking about getting this water cooling. http://www.thermaltake.com/product/Liguid/DIY/cl-w0075/cl-w0075.asp
and i have managed to find a shop in the UK that sells it which is good.
Problem i will have i think is that i want a black case but my PSU is silver so i think it would look odd, does anyone know what PSU would fit nicely with the two above cases?

I'm in the UK as well.
The best place to see a good range is overclockers.co.uk, but they are not always the cheapest, so maybe decide on the one you want and do sone searching for that case at other places.
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Cases_7.html
CoolerMaster Stacker STC-T01 - Silver Trim costs about £100 is is a good case, Thermaltake make good cases, but best to read up on the thermal properties of the case your looking at, s some they make are like tanks, but air flow is poor.
Other UK outlets I've used.
dabs not bad range, quick delivery
scan good range, expensive delivery
novatech not that good
misco good service and quick delivery
Komplett about the same as komplett
ebuyer not bad range, good prices, hit and miss with service level.
LOW lowest on the web free delivery but poor choice.
Each has their merits, personally i like the former evem though slightly more expensive.

Agree with all those plus:

Aria, reasonably expensive but good customer service, OK range.
Planetmicro, not too bad, but very poor range
Microdirect, good range, reasonable prices but disgusting customer service.

Thanks you two, microdirect and Dabs both sell the case i want. good prices aswell, i think the PSU will be my only problem, but they arent that expensive so all good. Oh BTW when getting a new PSU are there different sizes like how do i know which one will fit my case?

They will be a standard size atx psu.
But get the 2.2 version not 2.0.
My recommended psu would be the hyper typre r 580w, about £60 which is good for a psu of that quality.
Otherwise antec are very good psu's as well.
