Hi All, I would Just like to share some neat info I thought.

I've long since been a fan of Norton Internet Security, for what reasons I'm not sure, but the firewall is good.

My subscription ran out, so I thought I'd try My ISP's free Antivirus and Firewall, which turns out to be F-Secure.

I'm not trying to promote F-Secure, I think it's quite annoying to say the least, HOWEVER;

Since Norton has been off my machine I reached download speeds on torrents as high as 409 Kb/s.

It's almost as if from what I can tell, my download speeds have DOUBLED!!!

Even on torrents with low seeds it cranks right up there when I start a torrent.

I'm on a 3 MB Cable connection and use Azureus.

So from my experience, even though I've granted Azureus full access to my connection through Norton, Norton it would seem holds back on the speeds.

I hope this info might help anyone trying to increase thier speeds, and are Norton users.

Also, the upload speed has increased rather largely, which helps with those share ratio sites!!
