Hi, i want to get ram but im not sure what to get im want another 512Mb to make it 1GB, but i want to no whats the fastest best ram i can get for MY system, Please could someone with knowdelge tell me. Thanks

Check the site of the motherboard manufacturer. That site will tell you exactly what RAM can be used in the motherboard.

Your motherboard is a TriGem, not an Intel. Go to TriGem's site. I never heard of them, so good luck.

well you need to look for pc2100 ram dims because is not like of you want a faster one will fit on your motherboard, so i'll recomend you to go to bestbuy.com and look for pc2100 ram dims i like kingston i bought some dims and I havent have problems

does it matter about the Mhz, cuz ive found some 2100 thats are 400Mhz? does this matter?, or do i have to get a certaint Mhz?

well, that link u gave says it is a PC2700, and 400mzh is PC3200 but backword compatable with PC2700 and PC2100, have fun.

Hi, Errm, using your information i just brought this from ebay
512MB 333MHZ 2700 DDR RAM + LIFE WARRANTY + HEATSINKS
It comes with a heatsink of top etc, it BETTER FIT!, im counting on u guys.!!

If you use a payment method with some sort of protection and choose someone with above 99% feedback, you should be alright. At least with RAM it's relatively inexpensive.

oh and by the way it will only run at PC2100 if u keep the old ram in it as well, unless ur selling that eand getting 2 dimms of PC2700.

Indeed if you have two sticks of RAM running at different speeds, the memory will run at the SLOWER speed. For example If you had three sticks of 3200 and one stick of 2700, all four would operate at 2700 speeds. In your case the 2100 will limit the 2700 (333mhz) you've bought to 2100 (266mhz)
