just wondering where i should get a good power supply from and how mutch should i pay for a decent one. oh yer i am getting payed next week so i can get my ram with it.

Also of course bear in mind a few places charge quite a lot for delivery so ad stuff to the cart and check the total price before making comparisons.

ok so my ram came todays and bad news when i put both ram sticks in
it just freezez on the boot screen and i cant do nothing. my mobo book says to set any none pc 2700 to 100 mhz how do i do that.

i have also tryed it with one of my old ram sticks and a new 1 gig after a few switches i maneged to get it to load but it still says i have 256 ram.

Well you can't set PC3200 RAM to be 100mhz when the other RAM isn't I don't think, it doesn't sound like that board will support 3200. You may need to source 2700 RAM instead.

it says on the manual that it can support :
-pc2100
-pc2700
-pc3200

Then there should be no problem with sticking one stick in at least. Try both sticks on their own, i.e. just the first, then just the second.

I meant buy or replace, but if it supports 3200, you shouldn't have to unless your RAM is faulty. I very much doubt both sticks are.

I wouldn't change the timings, but the speed is controlled via the 'bus speed' setting in your BIOS.

ok i have just stummbeled on to my misc. settings and i have found
"dram clock at next boot is"

then you have these options

by spd
sync clk
100mhz
133mhz
166mhz
200mhz

should i change anything?

i tryed it and after about 5 seconds little white lines started to appear i did not think that was good so i turned my pc off.
