a memory card exploit has nothing to do with game saves on a disk it simply launches an elf file. so what was the trouble? what were you trying to do that it didn't do?

I followed a guide which said you could download game saves off the internet and put them on a dvd and copy them to your mc by using an memory card exploit.

what elf file are you using on the exploit? if your using launchelf then yes you can via its file browser, it's as simple as copy/paste

that is the PS2 browser, you'll have to trigger the exploit first then eject the trigger disk and replace it with the disk that has the data you want to copy to the MC on it.

do you even have an exploit loaded to your memory card?? doesn't sound like it at all.

that is not a MC Exploit and has nothing to do with exploiting at all what so ever. i cant comment on doing it that way as I've never done it, nor do i ever see a need to do so. an exploit, or a chip that allows the execution of an elf file, takes about 10 seconds to copy any device connected to the PS2 (MC/HD/CD/DVD/USB) and then paste to all the same devices with the exception of you can not paste back to the CD/DVD drive.

put in your swap magic disc, choose NTSC mode and push square for special boot, then swap the disc with your dvd of your saved games. Follow the instructions in the guide and it should work.
