I have just started burning DVDs of basketball games which were originally burned on a Tivo/Humax DVD recorder. The games are usually about 2-21/2 hours so the Humax needs to burn them on to 2 dvds. I use Clonedvd2 to burn the parts of the 2 original dvds to my hard drive. This worked. I than used Recode to put the 2 parts onto 1 dvd and was successful using the Remake a DVD process. This took just over 2 hours to burn. Is this normal or is there something else I can do to shorten the burn time? I have attached my log from a recent burn. Thanks.

I enabled DMA on my burner quite a while ago, and now I can reach (on average) ripping and burning speeds of about 15,000 kb/s. Although, I'm not retarded, I always maintain a burn speed of about 8x on my Sony MIJ and Verb. Adv. Azo 16x.
