Hi All

I have downloaded parts of a torrent eg. torrent has 10 parts and I have only selected 5. I do not want the other 5. How do I seed those parts I have downloaded? Or can I not seed until I download all 10 parts?

Once the files you wanted are done downloading (i take it you used this method : http://tinyurl.com/qrboc ),
They should just keep on seeding, otherwise, just re-activate the torrent, it should just start seeding.
You won't be recognised as being a seeder by the swarm/tracker though, since you haven't got the complete file.

Yep that's the method I used. But once I've finished downloading those files it just sits in the top window. It doesn't go down to the bottom window and start to seed. Is there a way I can force it to seed?

If it does seed on it's own and I'm not recobnised as a seeder does that mean my ratio doesn't improve?

As long as it's active and there are leechers, it should keep on seeding.
It won't move to the bottom window since you aren't a seeder as long as you don't have the complete file, however, even if you aren't recognised as a seeder, you will still get credit for the uploading you're doing, so don't worry about that.
