As you can see from my # of posts, I am a newb. I have been searching the site, but I am more confused now than before.
I was wondering if it is possible (simple) to burn PS2 games using just Nero (with AnyDVD if necessary)? I have 3 burning programs on my computer now and am trying to keep it clean since the more programs you have, the more problems you have with your burner.
I have downloaded DVD Decrypter JIC I need it and am also wondering if it is better than Alcohol 120%. Any help would be hugely appreciated. I am very computer literate, but the more research I do, the more confused I get.
also know that you need to mod your Ps2 to play back up games too.
Swap Magic and one other mod like a fliptop will do the trick.
then there are mod chips you can get installed that are by far the easiest and best method to play back ups with.
AnyDVD is for movies so unless you do back up movies it will do you no good for games, but is great to have if you plan on doing movies, i know i have it.
there are a lot of factors and as confusing as it is the only way to learn is to ask questions and start searching.
Always use good qulity media, which there are many threads on, when doing games.
ive been using plain old Nero express without any problems, just do a simple straight disc copy. No need for AnyDVD the games are unprotected. Also depends if you are playing them with a modchip or a swap magic. Swap magic i cant help you with
I currently have the Matrix Infinity (Green Dot) being shipped in the mail. Should be here next week. I am too lazy for swapping and there may be some DVD-9 games I will back up (once I purchase them of course) :D
